This classic mojito recipe makes a delicious classic cocktail perfect to add a refreshing tropical taste to your summer night.

Citrus-y, sweet and with the kick of rum, it is a wonderful party cocktail and one you can even make ahead for stress free hosting.

  • 60 ml white rum
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1tbs super fine sugar
  • fresh mint
  • Tonic water to taste


  1. Cut your lime in half, then use your hands to squeeze its fresh juice into a collins glass
  2. Add sugar and muddle them together
  3. Then add the mint leaves and mush them
  4. Add ice and then pour rum and top up with tonic water
  5. Add sliced lime, extra mint for decoration (optional) and serve
